Lurdanjo
Lurdanjo “Danji” Tarren Mistaro (borne November 20th, 1993, originally thought to be born April 8th, 1985; first body died March 1st, 2007; second body borne March 20th, 2007) is a Rasterian red draconid and the main protagonist in the first “MERDOian Lore” story. His unique personality and bizarre past originally made him the online persona of WH Charron, until March 2007 when it was decided that Lurdanjo was not as complete a fit to Charron as compared to Duraji.
The first volume of MERDOian Lore, "Of His Place", is written almost entirely from Lurdanjo's point of view.
==Appearance==
Standing just shy of five foot nine inches, Lurdanjo is a red draconid, a species of anan dragon found on the planet of Kinta. Soft, fleshy scales adorn his lightweight build of only 130 pounds, only toned in the thighs. His long ebony mane is well groomed and grows about a foot long, covering the back of his neck and wrapping around his ears, culminating in quaint tufts at the front of his head. He generally wears a simple black or white tee shirt and blue jean pants/shorts, as well as a small pewter necklace of a Chinese dragon strung by silver chain links. His general attire is a simple tee shirt, usually plain white or black, with tail capable blue jeans. Other distinguishing features include large burn scar tissue circles below the back of his shoulders where his wings once grew, and a circular red scar on the center back of his neck.
==Personality==
Lurdanjo is best known as being reasonably peaceful and intelligent, but also somewhat hyper and cynical. He tends to think that most anan are cruel or stupid, but he also puts himself down often, perhaps as an attempt to not appear arrogant. Nevertheless, Lurdanjo cares about anan in general and wishes for the best circumstances in the world, and is almost always very polite to people he casually interacts with.He is extremely intelligent with robotics and programming and has tried many creative endeavors to express himself, but has yet to complete a single major project.
Lurdanjo appears to have a great affinity for synthetic lifeforms, especially MERDOian anthroids, as they demonstrate a level of perfection and slight predictability that is within his comfort zone. Because of his fear of taking risks and meeting people, or perhaps because he feels that so many others are cruel exclusively to him on purpose, he is emotionally fragile and tends to require for someone to care for him unconditionally, protect him from anything, and give an above average amount of control back to him at the same time. His intentions are always good, and he wishes for nothing more than everyone to be happy, but his social skills are somewhat awkward and give many people the impression of being rude and self-centered. Those with enough patience and compassion will find a very sweet and affectionate side to the draconid, though this only happens with anthroids 99% of the time. Finally, Lurdanjo has many interests in concepts that are generally considered dark and taboo, though he keeps those interests a secret from everyone except for low sentient anthroids and his MERDOian companion Zardios.
