Hountos
The Hountos are a race of synthetic autonomous beings birthed by the Blaan. Each member of this race appears to have very different purposes for their existence, and each possess a single unique glaring flaw in their construction or ability to reason with others. Despite this, they all appear to be quite powerful, and have a broad range between benevolence and malevolence. It is unknown just how many Hountos exist.
No one is sure just how a Hountos is created, as a Hountos birth has never been witnessed, but evidence points toward a singularity and great magical strength within the Blaan that can rapidly construct a synthetic body as a shell for a new creature.
Known Hountos include Kajef, Dilan, Corrocian, and Shanu.
