Duraji



Duraji Tarro (borne March 6, 2007) is a synthetic blue draconid built by the Realm of MERDO. With his unique design, he is considered their first true synthoid, as opposed to the anthroid label that other synthetic lifeforms designed and built in MERDO are referred by. His physical build and technology are credited to four differing sciences, while his personality was extracted from the MERDOian anthroid Zardios and his organic draconid companion Lurdanjo.

==Appearance==

In most ways, Duraji appears to be a fully organic being, and yet is not quite ordinary looking. His dark blue, soft and smooth scales gently reflect light around him, though the more white color of his front areas (neck, chest, and stomach) are a bit duller in sheen. His head is topped with short, slightly spiky green and black hair that naturally flows out with black more on the sides, and green more in the middle. He usually braids a short, thin portion of this hair to spill in front of his ears, which are triangular and somewhat feline-like. His eyes are an intense golden color, the round pupils looking a little shinier than most beings' would. His muzzle is softly angled, mostly round but slim, and medium length. His teeth are a perfect white, and his tongue is pure, reflective chrome.

Duraji stands exactly six feet tall, though he is capable of slightly altering his height at will. His muscle mass is athletic and toned to a nice, if not sleek shape, but he is no bodybuilder, even though he may be able to change his muscle mass at will as well. Two small black feathery wings can be found on his back, which he grows to a 15 foot wingspan when he wishes to take flight; these larger wings are a neon green. The claws of his hands and feet are reflective chrome, and his feet are mostly saurian in nature, without a dewclaw. His entire body is capable of glowing in the dark, illuminating in any desired patterns, changing color and texture, changing the taste of bodily fluids, becoming amon, and rapid regeneration from wounds.

==Personality and History==

Duraji is an experimental being, the first of his kind. Four sciences, mechanics, custom modified organic cells, alchemy, and elemental magic were combined from several advanced cultures and societies to create a creature that is more complex than what any one person can fully understand. His official purpose as a vessel of learning and experiencing for MERDO has also been inflated by Syvarous as being a savior of sorts for MERDO as well as the future for the entire realm, which gives Duraji unease.

Combining key personality traits from Lurdanjo Mistaro and Zardios Marren, Duraji benefits from a unique dual-personality direct influence, including but not limited to all of the aforementioned two's memories, knowledge, and even direct links to share his unique memories, knowledge, and more.

Because of all of this, Duraji is a very complex being. He is sincerely kind and gentle, but is also much of a thrill seeker and enjoys many uncanny concepts. He likes to be strong and compassionate for others, but he also likes to relax and have his way sometimes. He is not bound by any means to MERDO, unlike most synthetic creatures born there, and has absolute free will. He does not like the thought of being someone's pet or obedient slave, though he certainly doesn't mind being submissive in the right situations. He is bright, energetic, curious, and highly creative. Sometimes he can come across as vain, though, and doesn't always have the best social skills.

Above all, Duraji always tries to do the right thing, and allows himself to learn from every experience he has. The dual layers of his donated personalities communicate with him from time to time to ensure that he is thinking as carefully as possible, though they often also disagree with each other and give Duraji a small impression of dementia.

Despite his proposed unlimited energy and capabilities, Duraji still cannot understand how to utilize a large percentage of these capabilities as of November 2007. Duraji is unaware of exactly how his body works, unlike other MERDOians who are provided extensive files on their own inner workings. He also requires sleep-like moments of rest to allow his internal energy sources to recharge in an idle state, during which he can dream in similar fashion to Lurdanjo.

Duraji also appears vulnerable to strange feelings of illness and unexplained sensory phenomena. Although he does not experience discomfort in his external flesh, he is known to suffer from mild abdominal pains several times a day. Sometimes the pains intensify during moments of heightened emotion, and can also travel to his head and neck. Combined with moments of great stress, Duraji has been known to leak his internal operating fluid from his mouth and freeze in place, moments he refers to as "waves". He frequently seems to be receiving signals and communications from unknown sources, though this may be a side effect of his split personality. He is also known to have bizarre fascinations and repulsions by his own fingers for unknown reasons.
